The White Knight

A bit late to the party, yeah? I’m here anyway, soo…..

For my first post, I’d like to dedicate it to the lives that were lost during the recent Garissa Attacks. There isn’t much we can do but just pray for the families that lost their loved ones, that God may comfort them and that they shall find peace in their hearts.

I was at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort during the week for the Safaricom Groove Camp and I loved the ambiance of the main lobby that I wasn’t going to leave without taking a couple of photos. The Sopa Resort is an amazing place, home to their resident giraffe and also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to trim the grass on their expansive lawns. I’d highly recommend it to anyone who would want to spend time outside the city.

I chose to do an all white ensemble for this post, in line with a group of Kenyan Fashion Bloggers who did this as part of their challenge. As we all know, White is the universal color of peace.

I wore a white long sleeved shirt, untucked, with white tailored pants. For such a casual look, you can easily get away with creases as it adds character to the outfit. However, bruh, if you are going to tuck in that shirt, it better be well ironed.

I finished off the look with a pair of Cole Haan Penny Loafers, the “sockless” look was perfect for this. It isn’t advisable to go sockless though, as you don’t wanna ruin your shoes by sweating all over them especially in this Nairobi heat, plus your feet would end up stinking. So I’d advice that you get a pair of No Show Socks (Mr. Price stock them) and rock the sockless look without being, well, sockless.

Oh, also, If you know of any other Kenyan Male Fashion bloggers, kindly drop a link to them in the comments section. Part of the reason why I started this blog was because I was so frustrated trying to find local bloggers from which to draw inspiration from. So I decided to save you guy’s from the frustration I went through.

Looking forward to a great journey with you 🙂

Cheers guys!
