What to Wear for your Valentine’s Day Date

Now now guys, before having me burnt at the stake, hear me out first. I know I haven’t put up a post up the past couple of weeks. Shame on me.. But, I’ve been working on new content nonetheless. For those in the dark, I started my YouTube channel a while back and I’ve been posting vlogs every week, which you should totally check out (and subscribe while you’re at it) *wink

Moving on swiftly, it’s Freaking February!!! And ya’ll folks in relationships know what that means.. Valentines Day! Also known as the day that guys are judged by how much effort they put in, and women try to outdo each other on what their significant others do for them. Now, I could go on and on about how every day should be Valentine’s if you have an S.O, but I’ll leave that to another blog.

If you’ve already gotten a girl to say yes to going out with you, I’m pretty sure she already finds you at least acceptably attractive, so that part of the equation is sorted. I can’t work on your personality, but I sure can help you out on what to wear. You have got to keep it simple, fitting and clean. Those three words should always be at the back of your mind when choosing an outfit for any occasion. Well, apart from if you’re going for a masquerade, then you are free to go wild!

Here’s my take on an outfit idea that can work for a casual evening date, on any day. For this post, I wore black distressed jeans, a black polka-dot (they are more of stars really), black Chelsea boots, and a Burgundy single-button blazer with a black and gold lapel pin.
